Full Time bookkeeper

We are seeking a full time bookkeeper to support our growing client base in our ACCA registered accountancy practice to join our firm, the ideal candidate must be experienced in working in accountancy practice.

This is a full time office based position.

The duties and experience requirements of the candidate are :

  • Accountancy practice experience is essential
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office, in particular Excel.
  • Competent User of Quickbooks.
  • Konowledge of Dext & Apron Software Packages.
  • Knowledge of VAT Regulations and MTD.
  • Bank reconciliations and control accounts.
  • Processing transactions.
  • Preparing accounts.
  • Preparing and submitting VAT returns.
  • Dealing with clients and their queries.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Work to deadlines.
  • Prioritise workflow.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Confident, motivated and have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work as part of a small team.

We are offering a salary of £25,000, annual holiday entitlement would 20 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays. We also offer a company pension scheme and there is free parking available at our premises.

We are based in Swinton Manchester and are 5 minutes walk from Moorside Train Station, and 5 minutes walk from the main road bus routes.

Our Working Hours are 9-5 Monday to Thursday and 8-4 on Friday, Hours can be flexible

Anticipated start date is 4th November 2024.
